Budgam, Feb 1: The District Administration Budgam today conducted a Block Diwas program at Panchayat at Block SK Pora in Budgam.
The programme was chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Budgam, Dr Akramullah Tak, where local respected elders and local youth delegations from village SK Pora Kantibagh, Russu, Razwen, Cheri Haran and other adjacent villages raised their demands.

The ADDC gave them patient hearing and assured all their genuine demands shall be addressed on priority.
At the outset, ADDC said that local participation in Block Diwas programmes is imperative for the development of all rural areas in Budgam.
He said that the district administration is organizing a two-day camp on 2nd& 3rd of February, 2024 from 10.00 AM to 4:00 PM, across all Tehsil Supply Offices in Budgam for providing ration cards or inclusion in ration cards, as per eligibility to left out registrants on e-Shram portal.
He urged all eligible beneficiaries should participate in these camps across the district to avail benefits.
The ADDC said that the District Administration is committed for robust development of all rural areas of the district.
He instructed on expediting work process on all ongoing developmental projects in the area and ensure prompt service delivery to general public in Block SK Pora.
