District Legal Services Authority Srinagar under the aegis of J&K Legal Services Authority, organised a Special Lok Adalat for Bank Cases and dispute of Commercial nature in the District Court Complex Moominabad, Srinagar

According to the Current news of India (CNI) that the said Special Lok Adalat was organized under the Chairmanship and guidance of Mr. Jawad Ahmed, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Srinagar.

Two Benches were constituted in which Bench No.1 comprised of Mr. Arvind Sharma (Additional District & Sessions Judge, Bank Cases) Srinagar. And Mr. Jahangir Ahmad Bakshi (Secretary District Legal Services Authority) Srinagar and Bench No. 2 comprised of Mr. Sayeem Qayoom (City Munsiff) Srinagar and Mr. Shafeeq Ahmad Malik (1st Additional Munsiff) Srinagar.

Bench No.1 had taken up 48 cases, out of which 36 cases were settled (CNI)
