Srinagar, 23 May:(CNI) Several tea stalls have been operating illegally along the roadside at Doodhpathri, a popular tourist resort in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

The Forest Department has asked the owners to vacate the spaces within 10 days.

The stalls have been set up without permission and their presence is said to be spoiling the scenic meadows of Doodhpathri.

The Forest Department has also received complaints about the stall owners cutting tree branches.

“Anyone selling tea illegally after the deadline will face legal action,” said a Forest Department official.(CNI)
