Jammu & Kashmir, India – The All India Sustainable Development Council (AISDC) is proud to announce the distinguished participation of Rtn Dr. Navneet Kaur ,Vice Chairperson of AISDC, at the Interactive Multi-Stakeholder Hearing as part of the preparatory process for the United Nations General Assembly High-level Meeting on the Appraisal of the Global Plan of Action to Combat Trafficking in Persons.
A renowned social reformer and advocate for human rights Rtn Dr. Navneet Kaur represented India on this prestigious global platform, highlighting the nation’s progressive legal frameworks and policy initiatives in alignment with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) priorities. Her unwavering commitment to combating human trafficking, safeguarding victims especially women and children and advocating for systemic reforms has earned her international acclaim.
Dr. Kaur’s Contributions at the UN:
Strengthening Legal Measures Advocacy for a comprehensive Trafficking in Persons (Prevention, Care, and Rehabilitation) Bill in India to enhance victim protection and prosecution of offenders.
Global Collaboration Partnering with UNODC and international stakeholders to improve cross-border cooperation, victim rehabilitation, and law enforcement capabilities.
She aims for Sustainable Reforms ,Integrating anti-trafficking efforts with AISDC’s flagship initiatives ,addressing root causes such as poverty, gender inequality, and lack of education. Her mission is to support Human Rights Advocacy Raising a strong voice against the misuse of technology and illicit networks in trafficking while promoting justice, dignity, and sustainability.
In her address, Dr. Navneet Kaur emphasised, “Together, let’s build a world free from exploitation and committed to justice and sustainability.” Her leadership underscores India’s dedication to eradicating human trafficking through policy reform, community resilience, and international cooperation .

As the founder Chairperson of NGO SUPPORT she stands committed to advancing social justice, sustainable development, and human rights through advocacy, capacity-building, grassroots interventions and restoring health and well-being of women and children in J&K .
