Following new voting on Thursday, a new body has been chosen by the Ganderbal Press Association.
The elections were held at Degree College Ganderbal in the presence of the principal, Mrs. Fozia, and the chief guest, ADDC Ganderbal Mr. Mushtaq Simnani.
The observer for the election was Sofi Ayaz of Times Now.
There were seven candidates competing. One vote was disqualified out of the 48 total votes cast.
The new association president is Mir Aftab (Punjab Kesari), and other members were chosen for various positions such as vice president Ghulam Nabi Raina (Kashmir Uzma/KNT), general secretary Saleem Wani (Gulistan TV), spokeswoman Haadi Hidayat (ANN), and treasurer Raja Syed from KNO.
