DODA, (CNI): A day after Omar Abdullah targeted Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) President Ghulam Nabi Azad in his stronghold Chenab Valley, the latter treated him as a tourist in Jammu and Kashmir criticized for coming across as.

 

According to the news agency – Current News of India (CNI), while addressing a public meeting in Azad’s Doda, he said that Omar Abdullah spends summers at his maternal grandfather’s house in London and winters in another country and he is away from politics not familiar here.

 

He was reacting to Omar Abdullah’s statement that DPAP has been made the party of Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency only.

 

Oh Umar, if you were in India, you would have known. You go to your grandfather’s house in summer in London and some warm country in winter and you come here as a tourist,” said Azad.

 

Azad said that as Chief Minister Omar Abdullah visited Chenab Valley for five minutes and had not visited the area even once in the past years.

 

Have you seen his face in Doda, Bhaderwah and Kishtwar during the Chief Minister’s tenure? Is he here for the last 10 years?” Azad asked people saying that he (Umar) is visiting every village to ask for votes and deceive people once again. (CNI)
