Srinagar: The government of Jammu and Kashmir today mandated the immediate termination of two doctors’ services.
Due to the doctors’ unauthorised absences from their assigned tasks, their employment was terminated.
According to the details, Dr. Asim Shameen Zaz, who was appointed as a medical officer, requested a leave of absence from work for 89 days in order to attend a wedding in Canada. However, when his leave had expired, he did not resume his duties.
In a separate order, the Jammu and Kashmir government today also terminated the employment of Dr. Kawaldeep Kour, a medical officer, and she submitted a request to GMC, Baramulla, for approval of a one-year study vacation.
