Dignibal Cricket GroundThe Super 8 League Cricket Tournament 2025, organized by 13th Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) under the Civic Action Programme, successfully concluded on February 17, 2025. The tournament commenced on February 11, 2025, with 12 teams from the villages of Dignibal, Warpoh, Suhama, and Ganderbal participating in it.

In the final match, Bakura Braves defeated Gulistan Cricket Club by three wickets to claim the championship title. The ‘Man of the Series’ award was presented to Danish Hilal Ahnagar for his outstanding performance. The winning and runner-up teams were encouraged with sports kits (cricket kits).On this occasion, SSB 13th Battalion Commandant, Shri Mukesh Singh Yadav, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

While felicitating the winning and runner-up teams, he emphasized that “sports play a crucial role in the physical and mental development of youth, fostering discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills.”The local villagers requested that such sporting events should continue in future, wherein the 13th Bn SSB assured that similar initiatives would be organized to encourage young talent.A large number of local dignitaries, SSB officials, players and sports enthusiasts attended this grandh event. The organizing committee expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the tournament.
