Srinagar, 12 March (CNI): A 45-year-old carpenter allegedly murdered an unmarried woman, chopped the body into pieces and dumped them at different spots in Mohanpora Ompora Locality in Central Kashmir’s budgam hospital, police said on Sunday.
Sources told Current News of India (CNI) that in a case of unprecedented brutality in Budgam, a 45-year-old married carpenter killed a 30-year-old unmarried woman of Soibug at his home in Mohanpora (Ompora), chopped off her head, sliced the body into pieces and dumped the same at different spots.
An official told CNI that following a missing report, filed by the parents of the young woman, acting swiftly on the complaint, Budgam Police have arrested a man for allegedly killing a woman at his home and chopped off her body into pieces and dumping the same at different spots.
The culprit admitted the heinous crime and recovered all pieces of the body last night, he adds.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of IPC including murder, and the police were further looking into it. (CNI)
