“Very important “” To my all Respected Community brothers” Namaskar,I urge everyone to thoroughly go through the Private Member’s Bill, consisting of ten chapters, introduced by Hon’ble MP Shri Vivek Tankha Ji. The Bill commendably highlights and incorporates almost all the long-standing demands of the displaced

Kashmiri Pandit community from justice and restitution to rehabilitation and constitutional safeguards. If the Government and political parties come together to pass this Bill in its

entirety, it could mark a historic step forward. It offers a structured legal framework to address the decades of pain, loss, and displacement endured by our community. We must recognize and seize this opportunity with unity, wisdom, and clarity.

Rejecting or condemning the Bill without a thorough understanding would be both unwise and detrimental to our collective cause. However, while appreciating the intent and scope of this Bill, I also feel compelled to express a word of caution.

There is a growing apprehension among many in the community, myself included that this Bill, despite its noble content, may end up as an eyewash, where only the relief and token benefits are selectively

implemented, while the core demands of honourable Consolidated one place resettlement, constitutional safeguards, and recognition of our genocide may remain buried in bureaucratic files.

The issue of our genocide has already been dismissed by our judiciary, and our return and rehabilitation policy remains confined to government tables, with no serious political will visible on the ground.

There is also a perception that the government may be silently hoping we reject this Bill ourselves, which would make it easier for them to allow the slow dilution and dispersal of our population across India and the world, eventually rendering us irrelevant in the

constitutional and political framework of the nation. Therefore, this is precisely why it is important for us not to react emotionally, but to strategically engage with this Bill. If needed, let us suggest additions, amendments, and safeguards, but let us not allow this initiative to be sabotaged outright, either by external political forces or by

internal divisions. At this crucial juncture, unity of thought and action is our only strength. Let us rise above ego, suspicion, and narrow politics to ensure that our future generations have a

rightful place in the land of their ancestors, consolidatedly, with dignity, identity, and constitutional guarantees.Warm regards,[Kundan Kashmiri]SEVAK of the KP Community Mobile No 8802167955Email — kundankashmiri@gmail.com
