Srinagar: In a recent security review meeting at the District Police Office in Srinagar, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir Zone, V K Birdi, has called upon officers to enhance surveillance on anti-national and anti-social elements. Emphasizing the need for proactive measures, IGP Birdi directed stringent action against troublemakers and urged heightened vigilance to maintain a peaceful atmosphere in Srinagar City.

As per the News Agency Current News of India (CNI) During the meeting, the IGP stressed the crucial importance of security surveillance on vital establishments, locations, and vulnerable individuals. He highlighted the necessity of thwarting the nefarious designs of terrorists in the city and urged officers to take all necessary measures under the law.
