Srinagar, 02 March (CNI): India has chosen the theme for its G20 presidency “One Land, One Family, One Future” and this indicates the need for unity of purpose and unity of action, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the experience of the last few years, financial crises, pandemics, terrorism, shows that global governance has failed in its mandate.
According to the monitoring desk of Current News of India (CNI), while addressing the meeting of foreign ministers of the G20 countries, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that multilateralism is in today’s crisis, but we stressed that the G20 has the full capacity to deliver effective results.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the experience of the last few years, the financial crisis, pandemic, and terrorism shows that global governance has failed in its mandate. “We are meeting at a time of critical global division,” he said. Prime Minister Modi said that as the G20 President, India has tried to give voice to the Global South, developing countries are the most affected by global warming due to rich countries.
