Budgam, CNI: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday visited the residence of Dr Shahnawaz Dar, who was killed by terrorists in Ganderbal on October 20, and said that India and Pakistan should hold talk so that Jammu and Kashmir can be brought out of “bloodshed.”

Speaking to reporters, the PDP chief said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are stuck between the enmity of the two countries. “The people of Jammu and Kashmir are stuck between the enmity of two countries, their lives, property, everything is getting ruined. Our poor labourers have also become victims of this. Till the time these countries do not sit together and adopt the path of reconciliation with each other, as happened during the time of Vajpayee ji, such incidents will keep happening. As long as there is war between the two countries, the people of Jammu and Kashmir will continue to suffer. Every person wants that we should get rid of the war, both the countries should talk so that Jammu and Kashmir can be brought out of bloodshed,” Mufti said. CNI
