Srinagar, 16 Aug :(CNI) On the eve of 77th Independence Day week celebrations, IRP-20th BN. organised a Tiranga Rally in connection with Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahtsav under the theme “Meri Maati, Mera Desh” at APC Parihapora on 16.08.2023 in which officers/men of the unit as well as students/staff of Govt. Middle School Yakmanpora & respectables of the vicinity participated. The aim of the campaign was to evoke emotion of nationalism and patriotism among the masses.

During campaign Wasim Qadri-SSP Commandant IRP-20th BN

highlighted the importance of Independence struggle, Significance Of

National Flag & Role of freedom fighters who made immense sacrifices

for the Country. The Campaign was intended to develop a personal connection with our National flag.

Besides, IRP-20th Bn. carried out plantation drive in the premises of

APC Parihaspora with the objective to promote greenery in the campus as a part of larger objective of sustainable ecological development.

The officer appreciated the officers/officials of the Battalion for organising the function with pomp and show and thanked all the invitees for their participation to make this programme successful.(CNI)
