Srinagar, (CNI)Adding another proud chapter to J&K’s growing reputation in Indian football, Suhail Ahmad Bhat has been named in the 28-member squad of the Indian Senior Men’s National Football Team for the upcoming FIFA international friendly against Thailand.

The 20-year-old forward—who trained at the J&K Sports Council Football Academy—is the youngest player selected by national head coach Manolo Marquez for the prestigious fixture. Suhail earned his place in the final travelling squad following an impressive performance during the national team’s preparatory camp held in Kolkata. His energy, work ethic, and sharp attacking instincts stood out among a competitive pool of players, ultimately securing his inclusion in the final squad.

Speaking about his journey, Suhail expressed gratitude to his mentors and coaches from the J&K Sports Council Football Academy, where his football journey began. “I’m thankful to all my coaches who guided me through every phase of my career.
