Kargil Diwas was celebrated at Azmat-e-Hind Crossing bridge at LOC Teetwal Karnah today with great enthusiasm. A large number of yatris of Sharda temple also took part in the celebrations. The event was presided over by Dy. Commander of 104 Shakti Vijay Brigade, CO Mahar Unit and a large number of locals.

Coordinator of Sharda Temple, Ajaz khan represented about 60 yatris that included kashmiri pandits as well. A colorful event concluded the function with school children and speeches by locals emphasizing India’s victory while paying reverence to soldiers who got martyred in Kargil war.
