Continuing its mission of selfless service to humanity, the Samvedna Society, under the of its Chairman, Keshav Chopra, successfully organized 101st Free Eye Screening and General Health Check-up Camp today at Baby Caterer, Rehari, Jammu. The initiative was held in technical collaboration with K.D. Multispeciality Hospital, Jammu, under the expert supervision of Dr. J.P. Singh.
The camp served as a vital healthcare hub for the local residents, where a total of 104 patients were provided with comprehensive medical services free of cost. The screening process included advanced eye examinations such as Refraction, Non-Contact Tonometry (NCT), and vision testing conducted by a specialized team of ophthalmologists. Beyond eye care, the camp also focused on general wellness, providing patients with blood sugar monitoring, blood pressure check-ups, and expert consultations for various ailments.
Speaking on the occasion, Keshav Chopra reiterated the society’s commitment to uplifting the living standards of the common man through accessible healthcare. He emphasized that the Samvedna Society remains dedicated to reaching common man and ensuring that senior citizens and the needy receive quality medical attention without any financial burden. He further noted that cases requiring advanced intervention, such as cataract surgeries, would be facilitated to ensure no patient is left without a cure.we will continue to work tirelessly until every citizen has access to the vision and health they deserve.
