Kupwara: Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, stated that over 9,000 landless individuals have been given land in the region so far, adding that only those who are eligible will receive 5 Marla land from the government.
The LG, according to the reports, said that the administration has been able to provide transparency and have adjusted to the pro-people approach and that a new dawn of development is being written when speaking with media on the sidelines of a function at Dak Bunglow.
According to him, more than 9,000 landless individuals in Jammu and Kashmir have received land grants, and only those who qualify would receive 5 Marla parcels of land in J&K.
The LG further stated that the budget for a technical survey has already been approved by the railway minister while he was on a two-day visit to the Kupwara district. Kupwara will soon be connected to the rail link once the survey is done and the DPR is submitted.
