Rajouri: In the Rajouri area of Jammu and Kashmir, a landmine blast on Sunday injured two Army porters, according to officials.

Residents of Mangiote hamlet Raj Kumar and Ashwani Kumar both sustained splinter wounds in the explosion that occurred on Saturday in the advanced Kalal region of the Nowshera sector, according to the officials.

They claimed that the hospital had taken in both of the injured porters.

The forward areas are littered with landmines as part of an anti-infiltration barrier system, which occasionally get washed away by rains leading to similar mishaps, the officials added.
