Ganderbal, 06 April (CNI): An unidentified body of a male was found near the Sindh river behind imperial resorts Sonamarg in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district during the intervening night of Thursday-Friday.
Sources told News-agency Current News of India (CNI) that some locals spotted a body lying near the Sindh River behind imperial resorts Sonamarg and accordingly informed the concerned police post about it.
Soon after receiving the information, a police team reached the spot and took the body to the hospital for medico-legal formalities.
An official told Press CNI that a body has been recovered from Sonamarg, adding that the identification of the deceased is being ascertained, and further investigation has been taken up in this regard. (CNI)
