CASO Ended on Peaceful Note in Wanigam Pattan.
Srinagar, 15 Nov CNI : The government forces on Sunday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Wanigam Payeen village of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district which later ended on peaceful note .
Sources told Current News of India that a joint team of Army’s 29 RR, 176 BN CRPF, JK Police launched CASO at Wanigam payeen at around 2:30 PM after receiving information about suspicious movement of militants in the area.
The search operation was continued for several hours and was called off, an official told Current News of India.
Three Days After Low-speed Internet Services Restored in North’s Kupwara.
Srinagar, 15 Nov CNI : Low-speed internet services have been restored in north-Kashmir’s Kupwara district after remaining suspended for three days in fallout of a major face-off between armies of India and Pakistan along Line of Control on Friday last.
Sources told Current News of India the 2G internet services were restored around 2 PM today in the district after authorities had temporarily suspended the services on Friday.
Pertinent to mention here that five army personnel besides four civilians were killed even as seventeen others sustained injuries in a major face-off between India and Pakistan armies along multiple sectors falling on Line of Control on Friday,CNI.
