Baramulla/11/April/CNI// In view of growing pandemic disease Covid-19, main road leading to Pattan Markipora village in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district has been blocked by locals to mitigate Covid-19 threat.
Amid lock down & due to rapid spread of pandemic Covid-19, elderly people as well as Young educated folks of Pattan Markipora village on Saturday blocked main link road that Connects Markipora village from Pattan Naidkhai road.
For this administration have appreciated the people of Markipora village for taking this step as this step is going to help administration in reducing the risk of covid-19.
People of said village told media that the area is neither in red zone nor in buffer zone, but this step will keep us safe in present conditions. As we know the Covid-19 is spreading very fast from infected people to the noninfected ones
“We are making all efforts to restrict inward and outward movement of people in our village, we are hopeful that this step will help us to secure village from this Covid-19”, locals added.
They apprised the public about the Coronavirus disease and precautionary measures. They appealed public to adopt preventive measures to keep themselves and others safe from getting affected by this Pandemic Covid-19. CNI
