Sumbal/14 April/CNI// A facebook post this evening surfaced on Social media site Facebook in which a man was asking for help to ferry a dead body of a Child Whose death occurred in LD Hospital Srinagar ,from the hospital to his native village Nowgam in Sonawari .
Acting upon the video President Municipal Committe Sumbal Jahangir Ahmad Dar Contacted the stranded family members of the deceased child and sent his own vehicle to ferry dead body from Srinagar to Nowgam.
Jahangir said my PSO namely Tahir Ahmad saw a video on facebook and he told me that someone from Nowgam is asking for help to ferry his child’s dead body I without wasting any time told him to ferry my own vehicle to help them out as it was impossible for them to get any vehicle due to prevailing situation of Covid-19.
He said that it is my duty and to be available for help to my general public of the area and I take pleasure in doing the same.
Locals of the area have hailed the commendable job by President and said that we have never seen such a nice and kind person like him who has always shown kindness and has helped the people of the area a lot in this pendimic. CNI
