1 J&K Girls Battalion NCC, Srinagar, organized a lecture on Cyber Security on April 21, 2025, as part of its Annual Training Camp held at NTA Nagrota.
The session featured distinguished speaker Sh. Mohd Yassen Kichloo, Senior Superintendent of Police (Crime) and CICE, Jammu and Kashmir, who delivered an engaging and insightful lecture. Drawing on his extensive expertise, he addressed key aspects of cyber security, including current threats, preventive strategies, and the importance of digital awareness. His talk was well-received and proved to be highly informative for the cadets in attendance. The lecture aimed to raise awareness about the growing challenges of cybercrime and its far-reaching implications in the digital era. Sh. Kichloo delved into various dimensions of cyber security, including emerging trends in cybercrimes, safeguarding sensitive data, and the ethical use of digital platforms. Using real-world case studies, he offered insights into the practical challenges faced by law enforcement and highlighted innovative solutions. The speaker also emphasized the intersection of traditional disciplines like botany and forensics, inspiring researchers to adopt secure digital tools for data analysis and collection.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from NCC girl cadets who are participating in this camp from all regions of Jammu and Kashmir. A dynamic Q&A session further enriched the interactive discussion, making the event both informative and impactful.

Another practical demonstration from Fire and emergency services was organized the same day for the NCC cadets of Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) spreading awareness, promoting rapid response & strengthening service for society. (CNI)
