Light Rain and Snowfall Expected in Jammu & Kashmir: MeT Department Kashmir

Srinagar Sep 28 (CNI): The meteorological department of J&K predicts light to moderate rain snowfall over higher reaches very likely to commence towards late evening.

According to details issued by director MeT Kashmir Sonum Lotus as per Anantnag News Reader said today 28th September Light to Moderate Rain/snowfall over higher reaches very likely to commence towards late evening/night at many places of North Kashmir & spread gradually to other parts of J&K, especially Kashmir, Pirpanjal and Sonmarg-Zojila by tomorrow, 29th.

Similarly, September 29th :Rain/snowfall is anticipated in many places in Kashmir and isolated areas in the Jammu region.

September 30th: Conditions are expected to be mainly dry.

October 1st to October 5th: Mainly dry weather is predicted. There is a possibility of a brief spell of rain/snowfall in isolated higher reaches, although the chances are relatively low. Overall, there is no forecast of any major rain or snowfall for the next week.

Advisory: The Meteorological Department director, Sonum Lotus, advises postponing the harvesting of crops for September 29th due to the expected weather conditions.(CNI)
