Baramulla 05/ Feb (CNI) : The MVD Baramulla in the intrest of general public and as a part of 32nd Road Safety month has Conducted Awareness Programme cum test for driving licence of the appilicants at Railway Road Pattan.
Reports reaching news agency-Current News of India (CNI) that the appilicants from sub division Pattan and Tangmarg have Participated in the trial conducted by Motor Vehicles Department Baramulla, as a part of 32nd road safety month.
Sources told news agency CNI that the test was conducted for the first time in a decade at Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, which was highly appreciated by people of the area for conducting test at their doorstep.
According to Current News of India (CNI), ARTO Baramulla Mubashir Jan said that the test for driving licence was conducted as a part of 32nd National Road Safety month at Pattan. “We will try to conduct tests for driving licence every week in Pattan, so that People of Sub Division can feel some sort of relief”, he added
ARTO Mubashir Jan further said that he had also got calls from people of Uri for conducting the same programme in Uri.
Meanwhile, Locals while appreciating the goodwill gesture of ARTO Baramulla, told through the mic of CNI that it will really Provide Some Sort of relief to General Public and now they have to reach Pattan instead of Sopore which was really difficult for people of Tangmarg and Pattan areas.(CNI)
