4 more Drug Peddlers arrested in Baramulla, toll 28 in April

Srinagar 27,April (CNI): Continuing its efforts to eradicate the drug menace in Baramulla district, the Police on monday arrested four more drug peddlers in Kunzer area of Baramulla district.

According to reports reaching news agency- Current News of India (CNI), the 350 grams of contraband Charas like substance was recovered from their possession. The drug peddlers was arrested during an Naka checking at Batpora Kunzer and vehicle Santro bearing registration number JK04B-3071 which was used in the illegal activity has also been seized.

Reports reaching said that the arrested persons have been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Malik S/O Ab Rasheed Malik R/O Khag Budgam, Noor Mohammad Malik S/O Gh Mohmmad Malik R/O Shunglipora Khag, Abid Khaliq Malik S/O Ab Khaliq Malik R/O Shunglipora Khag, Nasir Ahmad Bhat S/O Farooq Ahmad Bhat R/O Khag Budgam (SPO).

An Police official said that a Case under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Kunzer and investigation has been set into motion.

Baramulla Police appealed general public to come forward with a genuine information to help the police in eradicating this menace from society.

People of Baramulla hailed the action of Baramulla Police especially SSP Baramulla and showed their willingness in eradicating the drug menace from the district. (CNI)
