APSCC express concern over the politics played over religion

Srinagar, CNI, 21-Apr; All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee ( APSCC) has expressed concern over the politics being played over religion by the people at helm and said that due respect to any religion can be given only all the religious minorities are allowed to practice their particular religion without any interference from any quarter whatsoever.
In a statement issued to CNI in connection with the 400 birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur APSCC Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina said that it is glad that Prime Minister Narinder Modi and Home Minister and many other dignitaries have lauded the supreme sacrifices of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji for the safety of other religion at a main function held at Red Fort, Delhi.
Raina said that it is everyone’s duty to protect the one’s religion, but to sacrifice to protect the faith of others is only the story of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji’s sacrifice.
Raina said that in the recent past attacks on minorities across the length and breadth of the country. He said some fringe elements having patronage of the government are not allowing the people of different faiths and religions to practice their religion.
Raina said that Guru ji is famously known for the protection he provided to the Sikhs and sacrifice for the protection of other religion against conversion. “It is kashmiri pandits delegation who presented in the darbar of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji at Anandpur sahib for seeking blessings and help for protection.The entire episode was kashmir centric in sixteen century” .
“Guru Tegh Bahadur ji’s martyrdom is particularly meaningful as it reflected two important principles of the sikh faith. The first is is to stand up for not only one’s own but also others’ religious practices, even when one does not agree with those practices. The other principle manifested in the Guru’s martyrdom is,” no one is enemy, nor a stranger, I get along with all”.
