Srinagar, November, 25 (CNI): Continuing its drive against drug dealings in Kashmir, Police have arrested eight drug peddlers and recovered contraband substance from their possession.
According to news agency-Current News of India-CNI, Kulgam Police arrested eight drug peddlers and recovered Cannabis and charas like substance during checking.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 307/2020 under section 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Qazigund and investigation has been taken up.
Kulgam Police in a tweet said “Kulgam Police arrested Eight Drug Peddlers and recovered Cannabis like substance weighing 39 KG in raw form and 70 Grams in Solid form from their possession.
Case FIR No. 307/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered in PS Qazigund and investigation is in process”.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt as per law. (CNI)
