Srinagar’s Grand Warriors Academy bagged 4 medals in Open Kashmir Mega event


Srinagar:Grand Warriors Academy of martial arts bagged 4 medals in different categories in Open Kashmir Mega event. Near about 500 athletes from different districts and clubs participated in the Open Kashmir Mega event which was held at old city Srinagar Mother Land School from August 08 to August 11, organized by International Tigers Martial Art. In the event, the 4-member team of Grand Warriors from Srinagar led by the team coach Aftab under the supervision of the Senior Coach Adil Hussain Khan brought 4 medals in different weight categories.

Senior Coach Grand Warriors Adil Hussain reflecting on this achievement, said: “It has been just one week since we started our academy. Thanks to almighty Allah that our dedication and hard work paid off, it is a matter of great pride that Grand Warriors earned five medals.”  Earlier one of our player Munshi Masooma participated in District Pencak Silat Championship and secured Silver medal and she has been selected for upcoming state championship.
