Budgam, 09 March (CNI): An elderly man was killed in a scuffle after an argument turns violent in Kuzweera village in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday afternoon.
Local sources told Current News of India (CNI) that an argument took place between two people over an issue, and in a jiffy, another man started exchanging heated arguments.
The argument only intensified with time, leading to a scuffle, a source said adding a few members from the other side attacked the opposite party which resulted in grievous injuries to a person identified as Kaisar Yousaf Zargar son of Mohammad Yousuf Zargar.
Soon after the incident, he was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, however, he succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.
A police official also confirmed the incident, adding that a case has been registered in and further investigation has been initiated. (CNI)
