Srinagar, 30 Sep (CNI) : Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Peoples Democratic Party President, Mehbooba Mufti, has voiced her deep concern over troubling reports of alleged harassment and forced labor of residents in the Kanslo Kanda area of Kulgam. She received distressing calls from local residents regarding the involvement of troops from the 9 RR camp in these incidents.

According to the reports, residents claim that they are being subjected to harassment by troops stationed in the area. Moreover, there are allegations that young men are being summoned to the army camp and forced into unpaid labor. Such practices, if true, not only violate human rights but also create an atmosphere of fear and mistrust among the local populace. (CNI) Current News of India
