Srinagar, 15 February (CNI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the development of the country is possible due to the unorganized workers in the country, more than 27 crore unorganized workers have got a new identity by registering in the national statistics of e-Sharam portal and 38 crore unorganized workers have benefited from the social security fund.

Adding that many steps have been taken to help them during the covid epidemic. The government has framed four regulations simplifying 29 laws related to labour, 27 crore unorganized workers have got a new identity by registering in the national statistics of the e-Sharam portal and 38 crore unorganized workers benefited from the social security fund.

He further said that the Food security of migrant workers is also ensured under the One Country One Ration Card. For this, they have been given the facility that they can get ration from any ration shops across the country.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Savnidhi Yojana, an easy credit facility is being provided to textile vendors. So far, 30 lakh peddlers have received loans worth more than Rs 3,000 crore.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana has played a key role in improving the skills of unorganized workers, Under Prime Minister Sharm Yogi Mann Dhan Yojana, a pension of Rs 3,000 per month has been assured.
