*Baramulla, cni A Disaster Preparedness and Security Response Rehearsal was carried out at the Convention Centre, Gulmarg, by Baramulla Police in coordination with 18 RR, 9 Raj Rif, 80, 112 & 175 Bn BSF, 176 Bn CRPF, Medical Services, and Fire & Emergency Services.

The 90-minute exercise involved 174 personnel from six agencies, during which multiple simulated scenarios—anti-fidayeen response, medical emergency and evacuation, fire safety drill, and bomb disposal procedures—were rehearsed to test response time, command-and-control, and inter-agency coordination.

All activities were carried out in a controlled environment, and tourism and routine life continued normally during the exercise.
