Multiple development projects worth more than Rs. 26 Cr. were inaugurated in Kupwara by Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha

The border district has started a major capacity-building project in the infrastructure sector. To ensure future growth and advancement in all sectors, J&K administration plans to finish 3241 works within the current fiscal year.

Over the past three years, Kupwara has experienced amazing growth. To improve the socioeconomic situation of the residents of this lovely region and to give young people more chances, the J&K Administration greatly boosted the tourism sector in the previous fiscal year, completing 2444 development works.

In 2021–2022, Keran and Machil received their first grid connectivity in 73 years, allowing 19 Panchayats close to the Line of Control to go ahead on new paths to wealth and security for both their own future and that of future generations.

In Kupwara, 20 significant infrastructure projects totaling more than Rs 3144 Cr are now being worked on. These projects will be crucial to future growth, offer prosperity to the populace in both rural and urban areas, broaden the local market’s customer base, and encourage entrepreneurship.
