Srinagar, CNI: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday said that it is “not confirmed yet” whether pahalgam attacker was one among the three killed in Dachigam operation.

Speaking to reporters, as per news agency Omar said, “It is not confimed yet. But from the day of the Pahalgam attack, our police, paramilitary, and army have been after them. If even one of them has been neutralized in this encounter, it is a good development.”

Omar Abdullah said that before discussing Operation Sindoor in Parliament, there must be a thorough debate on the Pahalgam attack. “Recently, the LG said there was definitely negligence in this. Intelligence and security failures played a role. That should also be discussed in Parliament after all, if there was an intelligence failure, a security failure, then who has been held responsible for it?” Omar said.

Speaking on statehood, Omar said, “We are hoping that we will get something in this session. If we don’t get anything, then we will talk after that. I will not go on strike, at least for now, as long as the Parliament session is going on. CNI
