BJP national general secretary Tarun Cugh, who is also the party incharge for J&K, today strongly condemned the “divisive politics” of the National Conference saying that the NC party resolutions adopted in the wake of the Operation Sindoor are nothing but a fake narrative.

In a statement Chugh said at a time when the National Conference led by Omar Abdullah should have stood shoulder to shoulder with Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the massacre of innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is playing escapist politics.

Chugh regretted that nowhere in the party resolution there is word of appreciation for Operation Sindoor. Moreover, the cross-border terrorism sponsored by the Pakistan ISI finds no mention.

Taking strong exception to the resolutions Chugh said nowhere has the National Conference blamed Pakistan ISI for triggering the crisis. He said Omar Abdullah should have come forthrightly to condemn the killing of innocent tourists at the hands of Pakistan sponsored terrorists.

That terro and talks cannot go together should have been highlighted by Omar Abdullah, Chugh regretted.(CNI)
