Srinagar, Mar 1 : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday chaired a meeting in Srinagar to ensure smooth arrangements for the holy month of Ramzan, set to begin tomorrow.
He directed concerned departments to coordinate closely and make necessary provisions, including an uninterrupted power supply—especially during Sehri and Iftari—adequate water availability, proper traffic management, and the regulation of essential commodity prices.
“The smooth functioning of public services remains our top priority,” Omar said, urging officials to address public grievances promptly and ensure hassle-free observance of the holy month.The administration has assured that all necessary steps are in place to facilitate a comfortable Ramzan for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
