Congress’s Divisive J&K Playbook Fails as Separatists Embrace Mainstream Politics Under PM’s Reforms | Manzoor Bhat

Srinagar : BJP Spokesperson Manzoor Bhat today asserted that Sajjad Lone must learn to operate within the limits of his actual political stature. When discussing leadership and stature one cannot ignore that Mirwaiz Umar Farooq holds a significantly higher position than Sajjad Lone. Mirwaiz is not just a political figure but a renowned scholar with global recognition a legacy that stands in stark contrast to the opportunistic politics of the

Bhat said For 70 years, the flawed and negative policies of the Congress party allowed separatism to take root in Jammu and Kashmir. Their political strategies misled the youth and fueled a culture of alienation.

Today, under the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are witnessing a historic shift. The greatest achievement of the Modi government in the last 10 years is the systematic dismantling of the Hurriyat’s influence.

Sajjad Lone cannot rewrite history to suit his current ambitions. He hails from a core Hurriyat background; his father was a prominent leader of the Hurriyat Conference, an organization responsible for decades of instability in Kashmir. Furthermore, his personal familial ties extend across the border to Pakistan. It is a historical fact that the devastation witnessed during the peak of Hurriyat’s influence involved the active participation of leaders like Lone’s father.

Bhat said It is a victory for Indian democracy that individuals who were once part of the separatist ecosystem are now eager to join the mainstream. This transition, made possible by PM Modi’s policies, should be welcomed by all. No one should have an objection to those wishing to serve the people within the indian constitutional framework.
