Hajin: Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme(PMEGP) scheme announced by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on 15th August,2008 in his address from Red Fort.
After being infamous as the Bandipora District Tehsil Hajin,Several Scams are surfacing and the public of Hajin Sonawari is being vigilant about it.
Yet another incident happened in Hajin J&K Bank Branch when two men duped a resident of Hajin Sonawari.
In the name of Loan under the prime minister employment generation programme(PMEGP) Scheme.Report’s said’ VADI E KASHMIR,the victim of the said scam took matters into hand when he was tricked by the Bank Manger Namely Aasif Iqbal Raja hailing from Manger post as Jammu and Kashmir Bank Hajin were he involved in scam under the of sanctioning Loans of PMEGP.
The PMEGP Scheme Loans are Sanctioned by the Nationalised Bank’s of India.These loans are provided to set up new enterprise and the implementes the scheme nationally is the Khadi And Village industries Commission(KVIC)
A local resident of Hajin told VADI E KASHMIR”We are not able to give Corruption for the sanction of Loan”.
Locals Appealed to the Higher authorities and LG Administration to look into the matter and intervention in this regard.(CNI) Current News of India
