Anantnag : Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday accused Pakistan of trying to stop the region’s development and create divisions among its people.

Speaking at a religious event in Larkipora Aishmuqam, LG Sinha called Pakistan a “terrorist country” and said it wants to undo the progress made in the last five years in Jammu and Kashmir.“Pakistan wants to destroy the development we have achieved and break our unity.

We must not let it succeed,” Sinha said.He added that the best way to defeat such threats is by staying united and standing together. “Police and security forces are doing a great job, but people’s support is just as important,” he said.

Sinha urged the public to help security forces by sharing timely information and supporting their efforts to end terrorism. He said peace and progress can only be achieved with full cooperation from the people.

He praised both the security forces and the citizens for their strength and patience. “Despite many challenges, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have remained peaceful. We won’t let anyone divide us,” Sinha added.
