Samagra Shiksha’s multi-Core initiatives are improving Education System: Deep Raj
Assests of more than Rs 1.5 crores including Open Gym shall be created in HSS Nagri.

Today, Project Director Samagra Shiksha, Deep Raj tool whirlwind tour, of Kathua District and inaugurated School Building at Hr. Sec. School Nagri Parole and Model Kindergarten at High School Hiranagar.
The School building has been constructed at approved Cost of Rs. 56.00 Lacs and Model Kindergarten at Hiranagar, with approved cost of Rs.65.00 lacs under Augmentation Plan of Samagra Shiksha.
The events were attended by Deputy Director Planning SmS Bilal Rashid, Kishore Sharma, Chief Education Officer, Kathua, Jatinder Sethi Principal, HM HS Hiranahar, Members of PRIs, Teachers , Parents and a large no. of Students.

In his address, Project Director Samagra Shiksha said that, initiatives of Samagra Shiksha across J&K signifies steps towards providing a nurturing educational environment for the young minds of the community.
He said that, the school Education Department is committed for providing quality education and Samagra Shiksha is all set to improve Infra and other facilities with state-of-the-art addition.
Samagra Shiksha under the ambit of School Education Department, is working with dedication to fostering educational excellence and holistic development of students, he said. He reiterated that, the establishment of 188 Model Kindergartens across UT, with unit cost of Rs. 65 Lacs, aims to create an innovative and child-friendly space equipped with modern amenities to enhance the overall learning experience. He further highlighted the importance of Vocationalization and Contextualization of Education, assuring full support and cooperation for capacity building of Teachers and providing necessary assets to the Institutions. He announced that Model Library and Open Gym for HSS Nagri shall be established in next 02 months, besides this, Foundation stone of newly approved school building costing Rs.1.40 crores shall be laid shortly. He also informed that, Principal Secretary Alok Kumar, is very keen in ensuring quality infrastructure even in remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
During an interactive session with Teachers, at Govt. Girls High School Hiranagar, PD Samagra stressed on increasing enrollment in Govt. Schools and adhering to the Child-Centered curriculum outlined in the New Education Policy.
PD Samagra emphasized on the ECCE policy, underscoring the commitment to provide optimal development and active learning opportunities for children below 6 years of age. He interacted with the Pre Primary Children of the school as well.This Model Kindergarten reflects our commitment in providing the best possible education for the children of Hiranagar and future investment for tiny tots, remarked PD samagra.
He informed that, in last year approximately 800 civil works have been completed with the financial implication of Rs 160.00 crores and for current year, target of 1200 works has been fixed for improving the infrastructure in the Schools. PD Samagra further said that, students should concentrate on their studies rather to indulge in other anti social activities and Teachers must work to curb drugs menace.
DD Planning Bilal Rashid also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the achievements of Samagra Shiksha.
Ravinder Singh Sr lecturer co-ordinated and conducted the proceedings of the event.
