Poonch, CNI: The people from Chanian Ser Bufliaz in Surnakote area of Poonch district are extremely affected due to the neglect of the Public Health Engineering/ Jal Shakti Department in the Surnakote Sub Division of Poonch district.
Residents of the area said that a water lift scheme Chanan Ser Bufliaz was constructed by the PHE Department under a Jal Shakti Scheme, claiming that population of over 2500 souls of Bufliaz A Panchayats will be provided water, which will remove the sufferings of the people, but the reality on the ground is something else.
Meanwhile the locals of the area said we are facing huge problems due to lack of water supply in the rural areas. The water lift scheme that was made in this area has been stalled for the last three years, due to which the department is negligent. Approval for the installation of the lift scheme was given so that the people of the area could get water supply.
The water Lift Scheme was constructed but till date, the supply of water could not be made available to the public, due to sheer negligence of PHE Division, Poonch.
Locals of the area alleged that public of the area has been deprived of basic facilities. They demanded investigation into the matter and action against the concerned people involved. CNI
