In his first visit to Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370, to Kashmir valley, Modi Ji to unveil multiple development projects ,PM Modi Ji has again ignored and sidelined Kashmiri Pandits in particular to victim Displaced Kashmiri Pandits in his address to a public meeting in Bakshi stadium, Srinagar today.
Pinning high hopes upon Modi Ji and his Government at displaced Kashmiri Pandits are left shocked and surprised when Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji had not mentioned any thing about their plight, in his speech while addressing a huge rally at Sringar after unveiling and inauguration of multiple devlopment projects.
In his speech, Modi ji spoke on development,wining of hearts of Kashmiri Muslims,benefits of article 370,its revocation, WPRs, Valmikis, downtrodden , dynasty & family rule ,corruption, ruineing of J&K Bank, G-20, tourist influx and other things, but unfortunately he mentioned nothing about the plight and problems of arbigenies of Kashmir, the Kashmiri Pandits KP,s, their redressal, who are in exile from the last about three decades.
Kundan Kashmiri ,Sevak of Kashmiri Pandits and President KPC stated it was an appropriate time for Prime Minister Sh.Narendra Modi Ji to come out with meaningful agenda and future plans for displaced Kashmiri Pandits, about their core issues ,including rehabilitation,compensation,reservation, relief and other issues.
He further said Modi Ji,s silence over the grave issues of displaced Kashmiri Pandits who are first victim of the terrorism and armed insurgency carried out by Pan islamists,fundamentalist, corrupt & double standard politicians of Kashmir,and wrong polices of previous centre Government, now needed immediate patting and healing after facing huge problems from the last 34 years.There was also need to give priority and preference towards some soccer and economic package for ignored and victim Kashmiri Pandits for their better living conditions.
But silence maintaining by the Hounrable Prime minister of India and his government for the long pending issues of Kashmiri Pandits are again dismayed and disappointed ,and also creates some doubt that there seems nothing is in the Prime Minister’s kitty for Victim Kashmiri Pandits.
The unemployed ,overage KP youths , PM package employees, relief holders and others are demoralized.
.Whole KP community in exile are living life of uncertainty,having fractured families,loosing their culture and language., shrinking their population day by day, having no address and means.,hence are depressed and demoralized.
Kundan Kashmiri further stated that much talked rehabilitation policy for displaced KP, s (migrant Kashmiri Pandits) at “ONE PLACE SETTLEMENT ” at the land of Kashyap in Kashmir valley too has also not seen a daylight till date and the dillydallying tactics being adopted by the governments have left the exiled community highly demoralized.
Under all these compelling situations, it is high time that whole community of Kashmiri Pandits inparticular displaced Kashmiri Pandits should seriously ponder and sit together to take struggle forward to the logical conclusion.
Importantly, we would again like to stress and urge all KP organizations and welknown community stalwarts to form an “Apex committee ” to bring all genuine and burning issues before the Government together after launching peaceful agitation to pressurize the Government to accept our genuine and long pending community issues and demands at the earliest.
