Before leaving, PM Modi shared a powerful message: “India is fully committed to BRICS and to building a peaceful and balanced world.”

First Stop: Ghana 🇬🇭

PM Modi’s first destination is Ghana, where he will stay on July 2 and 3. He’s going there at the invitation of President John Dramani Mahama. Modi plans to address the Parliament of Ghana—a big moment as both countries share strong democratic ties.

He said he looks forward to strengthening cooperation with Ghana in areas like investment, energy, health, security, and development.

Next: Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹

After Ghana, it’s off to Trinidad and Tobago, a country that shares a deep-rooted connection with India. Fun fact: Indians first arrived there 180 years ago!

PM Modi will meet President Christine Carla Kangaloo and Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, who’s back in office for her second term.

Modi called the visit a chance to “rejuvenate the bonds of ancestry and kinship that unite us.”

Historic Visit to Argentina 🇦🇷

BRICS Summit in Brazil 🇧🇷

On July 6 and 7, PM Modi will head to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for the BRICS Summit. India has been a founding member of BRICS and PM Modi said India is dedicated to making BRICS a platform for growth and cooperation.

He said the goal is to work together for a “more peaceful, democratic, and fair world order.”

He’ll also make a State Visit to Brasilia and meet Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to strengthen India-Brazil ties.

Final Stop: Namibia 🇳🇦

Modi’s last destination is Namibia, where he’ll meet President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. PM Modi described Namibia as a “trusted partner” with a shared history of fighting colonialism.

He will also address the Namibian Parliament, focusing on stronger ties for development and progress.
