Srinagar 18 Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed deep shock and condoled the demise of those who lost their lives in the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza.

“Deeply shocked at the tragic loss of lives at the Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza. Our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, and prayers for speedy recovery of those injured,” said PM in a post on X.

PM Modi said that civilian casualties in the ongoing conflict are a matter of serious and continuing concern. “Those involved should be held responsible,” he added.

It is pertinent to mention that hundreds of people were killed in an Israeli air strike on Al Ahli hospital in Gaza, sparking a huge outcry from political leaders across the world.

The current Israel-Palestine crisis, which has garnered the attention of the whole world, was precipitated by a surprising attack from Palestinian fighters – Hamas. (CNI)
