According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), he would inaugurate and lay the cornerstone for development projects in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan totaling roughly Rs. 19,260 crore and Rs. 7,000 crore, respectively.

The Mehsana-Bathinda-Gurdaspur gas pipeline, built at a cost of Rs 4,500 crore as yet another move to support a gas-based economy, will be officially opened during his visit to Chittorgarh in Rajasthan, it said.

The LPG plant at Abu Road owned by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) will also be opened by the prime minister. This facility will package and deliver 86 lakh cylinders annually, which will result in a net decrease in the number of running trucks carrying the cylinders.
