Srinagar, 05 April (CNI) : Baramulla police on Wednesday evening arrested the two Lashkar-i-toiba militants from old town Baramulla, who escaped from police station Baramulla during wee hours of Wednesday.
As per the statement, a copy of which lies with Current News of India (CNI) that reads in continuation to earlier message with regard to escape of two accused who were under custody at PS Baramulla escaped this morning and case FIR under relevant sections of law was registered.
During the course of the investigation, Baramulla Police collected the CCTV footage of the incident.
Police after utilising technical & human intelligence and after hectic efforts both the accused have been arrested this evening from old town Baramulla and are presently under custody at Police Station Baramulla. Investigation into the case is going on, the statement reads. (CNI)
