Srinagar : The Pradesh Congress Committee organized a workers’ convention in the Badru area of south Kashmir Kulgam district’s Devsar constituency on Tuesday.
On this occasion, Pradesh Congress, J&K UT President Waqar Rasool and other senior leaders including district in-charge Kulgam Imtiaz Ahmed Khande, District President Kulgam Amanullah Manto, General Secretary, DDC member Frisal Inayatullah Rather besides the party’s leaders and workers were present.
While addressing the people, DDC member Frisal Inayatullah Rather thanked the people and said that he was grateful to all for turning up in large numbers despite the severe cold.
“It is the right time for all people to come forward and to cast their valuable votes so that the secular-minded party leaders can win,” he said.
Meanwhile, the party President Waqar Rasool also addressed the people and asked them to vote for his party so that they could work for the betterment of the people and the development of J&K.
On the occasion, the workers of the party were given directives to strengthen the party roots and remove obstacles in its hassle-free growth to realise people’s dreams. Current News of India (CNI)
