Rajouri Police Arrest Accused persons, Recover 07 Stolen Motorcycles: Police

Rajouri: Rajouri police have solved a theft case and arrested two accused persons. According to News Agency Current News of India_CNI, the Rajouri Police Station successfully resolved a theft case, apprehending the accused individuals. All seven stolen motorcycles were recovered from the possession of the arrested accused persons.

In an official police statement provided to the News Agency Current News of India (CNI), it was reported that Syed Ibrar Hussain, son of Sabar Hussain Shain, filed a written complaint with the police. He reported the theft of his motorcycle with registration number JK11E 6764, taken by unidentified persons in Kheora, near a mosque.

Subsequently, a case under FIR 528/2023 U/Ss 379 IPC was registered at the Rajouri Police Station. The investigation was initiated by a dedicated police team led by SHO Aejaz Wani.

In the course of the investigation, a juvenile suspect (identity withheld) was apprehended. Upon interrogation, the juvenile admitted to the commission of the crime along with his associate, identified as Mohd Saleem, son of Mohd Yousif, residing in Sarano.

Both suspects were lawfully arrested in connection with the case, following the appropriate legal procedures.

To date, based on their statements, a total of 07 motorcycles, including the one stolen from Kheora, have been successfully recovered and seized in connection with the case.

Further investigation into the matter is going on and there is likelihood of more recoveries as investigation moves on.Current News of India (CNI)
